Based on the edge of the beautiful Lake District working online means you can access my skills from the comfort of your own home or workplace, no matter where you are based. I have experience with addiction, and a neurodiversity informed practice.

Bariatric surgery is often the last chance, most approaching it have had enough of dieting, feeling a failure, feeling trapped by their bodies. Experiencing stigma, shame, guilt. Culture, government, society and the food industry have surrounded us with misleading information regards diet and health yet the finger is pointed at the individual - at you.

Working nationally sometimes internationally I believe in providing hope but without any false promises. Supporting you in your choices on your journey I provide a holistic approach including psychological therapy, improving emotional resilience, confidence building via self-worth, at the same time as guidance with nutrition, activity, self-care, habit breaking, managing behavioural change. Although I provide education and information, I encourage autonomy so you have the tools & knowledge to go forward. My psychotherapy training means I can offer therapy in depth when needed, support for current struggles, as well as unpick deep rooted experiences.

Although I use a structure I tailor the therapy to fit needs we discover together, working with what you bring from your story as well as live within each session and between sessions.

Therapy starts with a full comprehensive assessment, followed ideally by 1 hour weekly sessions.
