I have been a Nutritional Therapist for 11 years, employing the Functional Medicine approach, treating each client as an individual and approaching their health in a non-judgmental and holistic way.

Working with clients who are due to have or who have already had bariatric surgery enables me to ensure you feel prepared and supported at every stage of your journey, from pre-surgery, throughout the recovery period and beyond. We work together to ensure nutrient levels are optimal, addressing any health concerns or anxieties, support around making good food and lifestyle choices which are appropriate for the stage you are at, as well as taking into consideration your own likes/dislikes and life challenges.

There may be many factors that need to be considered on your journey and I will take into account your metabolism, genetics, nutrient absorption, underlying inflammation, anxiety, sleep disturbances, hormone regulation, as well as any other biochemical imbalances which may be contributing to your health issues.

I work with many clients who are neurodivergent, many of whom have complex health conditions, eating disorders and restricted eating habits. Gut issues, anxiety and sensory challenges are common features in these clients and I work at a pace that suits you, reducing any potential stress you may have around changing your diet and lifestyle, giving practical tips around developing meal plans, shopping, preparing food and cooking for you and your families.
